Custom ERP Software Development

Anekant Tech builds custom ERP (enterprise resource planning) software for manufacturers, distributors and multi-branch businesses. Instead of bending your operations to fit a generic ERP, we build the modules you need (inventory, purchasing, production, sales, invoicing and reporting) around how your business already works, and connect them to the tools you keep.

Best for
Manufacturing, distribution, trading, multi-branch retail
You get
ERP modules, mobile access, reports, integrations
Core stack
PostgreSQL, Go / Node.js, React, Flutter
Ownership
No per-user licence fees; you own the code

What's included

Inventory & warehouse

Multi-location stock, batches and serial numbers, reorder alerts and real-time reconciliation.

Procurement

Purchase requisitions, approvals, purchase orders, vendor management and goods receipt.

Production planning

Bills of materials, work orders, job cards, material consumption and wastage tracking.

Sales & invoicing

Quotations, orders, dispatch, and GST-compliant invoicing, with e-invoice and e-way bill integration for India.

Accounting integration

Sync with Tally, Zoho Books or your accounting system, or full double-entry accounting inside the ERP.

Role-based access for every branch and department, audit trails and management reports.

Signs you need this

  • Stock figures in your system never match what's on the shelf.
  • Purchase orders and approvals happen over WhatsApp and email.
  • Each branch or warehouse keeps its own spreadsheets.
  • You tried an off-the-shelf ERP and ended up working around it.
  • Month-end reporting takes days of manual consolidation.

How we work

  1. Operations auditWe walk through purchasing, production, stores, sales and accounts with the people who do the work.
  2. Module blueprintWhich modules, in which order, and what stays in existing tools such as Tally.
  3. Phased buildThe highest-pain module goes live first so you see value in weeks, not quarters.
  4. Data migrationItem masters, opening stock, vendors and customers imported and verified.
  5. Training & parallel runUsers trained by role; old and new systems run side by side until numbers match.
  6. Expand & supportFurther modules, mobile apps for the shop floor or field, and ongoing support.

What affects cost and timeline

Every project is quoted after a short discovery call. These are the factors that move the estimate most:

  • Number of modules and how complex each workflow is.
  • Number of branches, warehouses and user roles.
  • Integrations with accounting, e-invoicing, e-commerce or machines.
  • Volume and quality of data to migrate.
  • Mobile apps for warehouse, shop-floor or field staff.

Frequently asked questions

What is a custom ERP?

A custom ERP is enterprise resource planning software built specifically for one company's processes (inventory, purchasing, production, sales and accounts) instead of a generic package configured to approximate them.

Is custom ERP better than Tally, Zoho, Odoo or SAP Business One?

It depends on how standard your processes are. Packaged ERPs are faster to start with if your workflows are typical; custom ERP wins when your processes are distinctive, when per-user licences get expensive, or when customising a package costs nearly as much as building. Our guide Custom ERP vs off-the-shelf ERP walks through the decision.

Can the ERP work alongside Tally?

Yes. Many clients keep Tally for statutory accounting while the custom ERP runs operations; vouchers and masters sync between the two so accounts never re-enter data.

Does the ERP support GST invoicing in India?

Yes. We build GST-compliant invoices and can integrate with the government e-invoice (IRN) and e-way bill systems through an authorised GSP or API provider.

How long does a custom ERP take to implement?

We implement in phases. A first module such as inventory or purchasing typically goes live in a few months, with further modules added in later phases rather than one big-bang launch.

Do we pay per-user licence fees?

No. You own the software, so adding users doesn't add licence costs, only hosting, which scales gradually.
